The UKIO congress 2022 was held in Liverpool at the ACC arena, and contained three packed full days of lectures and exhibitions. Overall there was a heavy focus on AI, however most talks were from industry talkers, attempting to sell a product.

This paper was published due to the increasing development and use of artificial intelligence within the radiography profession. It aims to provide baseline guidance for those that may encounter AI in education, research, clinical practice and stakeholder partnership.

Having cannulated for many years, I was unsure as to the overall benefit of this course. It was a requirement for the company I worked for, as I had only had in-house training previously and had no certification to prove I was able to cannulate.

This two-hour course aims to prepare healthcare professionals for the eventuality of a cardiac arrest. To pass this course you are required to demonstrate how you would perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and what extra measures you would take.

This Educare training was extremely useful, not just for my working life, but also for my studies. It also discusses motivation theories that can inspire a team towards giving their best.

This was part of an EduCare package that the SoR recommends. I thought this would be an excellent way to gain some knowledge and improve my skills in this area. Having recently been offered the position of Lead Forensic Radiographer at my hospital, I need to be fully up-to-date on these procedures.

I thought I would use my first post to tell you a bit about myself. I am a CT radiographer currently working at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I have been in the CT department for around 4 years now, which has flown by!
